Five Critical Vehicle Fluid Levels to Maintain

It will take a ton of maintenance, over a lifetime, to keep your vehicle running smoothly. There are five fluid levels, especially, worth keeping an eye on.

  • Your engine oil is among the most critical levels to check. Checking the oil is as simple as popping the hood, pulling out the dipstick, and checking to see if it’s filled properly.
  • Your transmission is an enclosed structure and can maintain its fluid level a long time. However, it’s easy to check the dipstick for proper levels.
  • Your engine coolant should show proper levels for year-round weather conditions.
  • Proper brake fluid levels are critical for safe braking. Check for a spongy brake feel that may indicate a problem.
  • Power steering enables you to turn your steering wheel. Check levels if it’s difficult to turn.

Bring your vehicle down to our service center for a fluid level checkup. We can also check to make sure other systems are running smoothly.
